Five grades, plainly defined. Honest grading is why buyers trust Kaparay: when in doubt, grade lower and photograph everything.
The five grades
| Grade | What it means |

| New with tags | Never worn, tags or receipt attached. |
| Never worn | Never worn, no tags. |
| Excellent | Worn once or twice, no visible flaws. |
| Good | Light wear, every flaw photographed. |
| Fair | Visible wear or missing embellishment, priced accordingly. |
Grading South Asian garments honestly
- Embellishment counts. Missing sequins, loose zardozi, dulled mirror work: if any work is lost or lifting, the grade is Fair and the photos show it.
- Sets are declared in full. A three-piece suit lists its three pieces. Dupatta completeness is always stated: a suit without its dupatta is still sellable, but never silently.
- Good and Fair require flaw photos. Picking either grade asks for at least one photo tagged as a flaw before you can publish.
- When unsure, go lower. A buyer delighted that a piece arrived better than graded comes back. The reverse does not.
Why it matters
The listing's photos and grade are the baseline if a buyer ever reports a problem. A piece graded honestly almost never comes back; a piece graded hopefully usually does, with the return postage on you.
